Client: Type Two (Collective)
Project Type: Branding, Logo, Typography
Type Two is an online adventure brand that focuses on educating people in outdoor adventure. It started by following the client's journey on the Pacific Crest Trail. The name comes from a type of mid-level difficulty on the adventure fun scale, being "type two". The goal was to create a brand that was exciting and connected to outdoor adventure.
Process
Logo design started with three ideas. The aim of all variations was to pull in a punk identity while also connecting to adventure and Type Two fun.

The Logos
The client, Tyler, was pretty open as to what he wanted for the logo. Through a conversation about his passion for hiking and the outdoors we also talked about personal interest. He talked about his love of punk. This is one of my favorite and most challenging logos because I wanted to combine his interests into one logo. The main logo sports a skull with wilderness scenery within it. I also felt this logo deserved a custom typeface so I designed the letters to match the attitude of the brand, friendly while edgy.

The Brand at Work
Work for Type Two started with a logo and brand identity and has evolved into social media, website design, pitch decks and apparel.
